THE PARTICIPATION OF THE CATHOLICOSATE OF CILICIA IN THE ECUMENICAL
DIALOGUE IN GENEVA
The World Council of Churches (WCC) organized the fourth dialogue
of Orthodox and Evangelical churches in the Ecumenical Formation
Center in Geneva on July 10-16. The dialogue's main theme was the
human being's Christian concept.
The Catholicosate of Cilicia delegated Bishop Anoushavan Tanielian
(Ecumenical Officer of the Eastern Prelacy of the United States)
and Nayiri Baldjian (delegate of the Armenian Church to the WCC
9th Assembly).
Bishop Anoushavan and Ms. Nayiri talked about the viewpoints of the
Armenian Church towards the creation of man and his salvation.
Mrs. Nayiri was elected a member of the committee tasked with
organizing such meetings in the future.
