NKR MFA: OSCE FOUND NO FACTS TESTIFYING TO HARM CAUSED BY FIRES TO POPULATED LOCALITIES IN NKR SECURITY ZONE
DeFacto Agency, Armenia
July 21, 2006
July 20 Nagorno Karabakh Republic Deputy FM Masis Mailyan received
a Field Assistant of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office's Personal
Representative Gunter Falk.
According to the NKR MFA, in the course of the meeting Mr. Falk
delivered to the NKR Deputy FM a report prepared by the OSCE
Chairman-in-Office's Personal Representative on the inflammations on
the Azeri and Nagorno Karabakh Armed Forces' contact line.
As it has already been informed, June 15, 2006 the NKR MFA appealed to
the office of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office's Personal Representative
with an urgent request to hold monitoring on the zone adjacent to
Azerbaijan to estimate the real situation and be convinced of forced
accusations of Baku concerning the arsons that had allegedly taken
place on the bordering populated localities on the territories
controlled by the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. The OSCE mission
held monitoring in the bordering zone, on the outcomes of which a
corresponding report was made.
At the moment the document is being studied at the NKR MFA, however,
one can already ascertain that the OSCE mission found no facts
testifying to harm caused by fires to populated localities in NKR
security zone, as the Azeri party was attempting to present.
