Azeri president receives Pakistani Ambiassador

Azerbaijan and Pakistan successfully cooperate in many spheres,
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated on 24 July in a meeting with
Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Muhammad Hafizi, on the occasion
of accomplishment of his tenure in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The head of state voiced his confidence in further development of
the bilateral relationships.
The Ambassador voiced his gratitude to the Azerbaijani president
for support rendered during his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
Reminding of mutual visits of the Presidents of the two countries,
the diplomat voiced his confidence that the visits will enhance the
bilateral relationships between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh
Hafizi stated the country's leadership supports Azerbaijan's fair
position in this issue and is for the settlement of the conflict in
accordance with international law and principles.
