ABOUT 100 HIGH GRADE PUPILS PARTICIPATE IN COMPETITION OF COMPOSITIONS "PEACE AND TOLERANCE"

YEREVAN, JUNE 6, NOYAN TAPAN. About 100 pupils of 8-10th grades
of secondary schools of Armenia participated in the competition of
compositions on the theme of peace that was announced by the "Education
for Stable Development" fund on the initiative of the Birtish
Council in Armenia. As the Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed
by the British Council in Armenia, Armenian pupils participated in
the competition expressed in compositions their attitude towards
peace and tolerance, wrote their opinions and viewpoints. According
to organizers, children's all ideas about peace and tolerance were
natural and direct what should become a reason for grown-ups to ponder
over it. Authors of 10 best works recognized winners got dictionaries
and libraries of those schools where the children study were given
books envisaged for reading.
