RUSSIFICATION MAKES ARMENIAN VELVET REVOLUTIONARIES FEEL BAD
Yerevan, June 9. ArmInfo. The representative of the formerly ruling
Armenian National Movement party Aram Manukyan urges Armenian
journalists to fight against Russification.
He says that they on TV are beginning to speak Russian language much
too often. Even mobile services are being Russified. Manukyan is
resolved to fight for the present anthem inherited from the
Dashnaktsoutyun party. The anthem must be preserved not so much
because it calls for revenge but because of the idea of succession.
