MICHELINE CALMY-REY: SWITZERLAND CONDEMNS THE DESTRUCTION OF THE ARMENIAN CEMETERY IN NAKHIJEVAN

Foreign Minister of Switzerland Mrs. Micheline Calmy-Rey declared
today in Yerevan that "Switzerland condemns the destruction of Armenian
cemetery and khachkars in Nakhijevan."
Mrs. Micheline Calmy-Rey noted, "During my visit to Baku two months
ago I addressed the issue during the meetings with the leadership of
Azerbaijan and I resolutely declared that Switzerland condemns the
destruction of the Armenian cemetery in Nakhijevan."
