Azerbaijan, Germany sign agreement on military cooperation

Defense officials from Azerbaijan and Germany signed an agreement on
military cooperation, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said Friday.
The agreement, signed by Azerbaijani Gen. Chingiz Mamedov and German
Brig.-Gen. Karl Muellner, foresees joint work in defense policy and
security, military education, legislation, history and medicine as
well as exchanges. It also notes the two countries' cooperation under
NATO's Partnership for Peace program.
