WHEN IS STATE SECRETARY GOING TO ARRIVE?

As we have been informed from the USA Embassy in Armenia, in the
scopes of regional visit the deputy of US State Secretary in European
and Eurasian affairs Daniel Freed accompanied by Major Consulter
in Eurasian affairs Steven Mann is going to arrive in Armenia from
March 15-16.
In the latest 10 days it is going to be the visit of the second
representative of USA State Secretariat to.
Several days ago the deputy of the deputy of the US State Secretary was
in Armenia. Tomorrow the deputy of the Secretary is going to arrive
in Armenia. Following the logical chain we must expect the US State
Secretary Condoleezza Rice to visit the region in the near future.
And what is the main reason of the interest towards our modest country
and region? There are several opinions concerning this question among
the political circles. Some think the USA is trying to find out the
positions of the governments of the region, to get some assistance
before the diplomatic- political "attack" on Iran. The other part
tends to think that the USA is trying to increase its influence in the
region and presses over Armenia and Azerbaijan trying to activate the
go-between role in the matter of Karabakh issue regulation. Moreover,
it is trying to agree the sides over a certain variant.
