ROBERT KOCHARIAN DISCUSSES ISSUES OF REGIONAL ENERGY SECURITY AND KARABAKH SETTLEMENT WITH DANIEL FRIED AND STEVEN MANN

YEREVAN, MARCH 16, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Issues connected with
ensuring of regional energy security, including security of Armenia,
were discussed at RA President Robert Kocharian's March 16 meeting
with Daniel Fried, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and
Eurasian Affairs, and Steven Mann, OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-chairman,
accompanying him.
The interlocutors exchanged thoughts on the situation formed around
Nagorno Karabakh settlement and further steps in this direction.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by President's Press Service, at the
meeting they also touched upon the "Millennium Challenge" program.
