FOOD SECURITY - A MATTER OF CONCERN

"The data about the state of food insecurity evidence that the annual
pace of reduction of malnourished population currently totals about 8
million, which is far less than the targeted figure of 20 million. Year
by year the number of malnourished and hungry people in the world
increases. The situation is the same in Armenia," NA Deputy Tatul
Manasaryan said during the discussions on food security. The hopes
of assuring food security in Armenia are connected with the sphere
of agriculture.
