Sochi holds remembrance rally for air crash victims

SOCHI, May 6 (Itar-Tass) -- A remembrance rally for victims of the
A-320 crash and a torch procession took place in Sochi on Friday. The
jet of the Armavia Armenian airline was carrying 113 people, including
26 citizens of Russia.
"The tragedy has united the two peoples," Armenian Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia Armen Smbatyan said. He
described the attitude of Russian authorities and people to the
tragedy of Armenians as brotherhood.
"One hundred ambassadors and 120 Russian officials visited the Armenian
embassy in Moscow today," he said.
