ARMENIAN PROSECUTOR GENERAL'S OFFICE INVESTIGATION GROUP DRAWS CERTAIN CONCLUSIONS CONCERNING THE CRASHED ARMAVIA AIRBUS
Yerevan, May 10. ArmInfo. The investigation in the criminal case on
the crash of Airbus A320 flying from Yerevan to Sochi on May 3 night
initiated by the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) is still underway.
However, the investigation group has arrived to certain conclusions,
Press Secretary of the RA PGO Gurgen Hambaryan told ArmInfo.
Thus, he said, the investigation group rules out the version of a
terrorist act or shortage of fuel of the possible crash reasons. G.
Hambaryan said more details will be announced after the investigation
is completed.
To recap, the crash killed all on board. 51 of 113 killed were found.
The RA GPO initiated a criminal case on Article 241.3 RA Criminal Code
(violation of the safety rules when exploiting a railway, air and sea
transport). Another criminal case on a similar article was initiated
by the Russian PGO.
