APPLICATIONS FOR TOTAL AMOUNT OF 27 MILLION DRAMS LODGED IN NKR TO PROMOTE HADRUT REGION

The applications for the total amount of 27 millions drams have been
lodged to the Republic Staff for the Organization of a TV Marathon
under the aegis of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund in the Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic.
According to the information DE FACTO got at the Republic Staff, the
greatest donors were the NKR Ministry of Urban Development / 5millions
400,000 drams/, MOD / 4 millions 800, 000 drams/, Ministry of Health /
2 millions 100, 000 drams/, the Ministry of Education and Culture /
1 million 200, 000 drams/ and the Republic Police / 1 million 128,
000 drams/.
The fund-raising campaign for the restoration and development of the
Hadrut region's populated localities mostly suffered in the course of
a war against Azerbaijan started in the Nagorno-Karabakh November 16.
It will finish November 23, when a TV marathon in support of the NKR
is held in Los Angeles, however, according to the Republic Staff,
the fund-raising will be continued after the date.
The NKR President Arkady Ghoukassian is in the U. S. in connection
with the preparation of the forthcoming TV marathon to be held in
Los Angeles.
