Audiences in the Mother See for the Week of October 16, 2006

During the past week, His Holiness Karekin II, Pontiff of All
Armenians, received in separate audiences:

- His Excellency Henry Cuny, Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to the Republic of Armenia,
for a farewell visit.  Ambassador Cuny has completed four years of
his diplomatic mission to Armenia.

- His Excellency Nicolae Iordache, Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Armenia, for a farewell
visit.  Ambassador Iordache has completed three years of his diplomatic
mission to Armenia.

- The Honorable Famiano Crucianelli, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
of the Republic of Italy.  The Deputy Minister was accompanied by
His Excellency Marco Clemente, Ambassador of Italy to Armenia.

- Nikolay Ryzhkov, Co-Chair of the Armenian-Russian Commission on
Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, and his delegation of Russian Duma
members.

- Siu Tzialu, Deputy Chairman of the Pan-Chinese Assembly of People's
Representatives of the People's Republic of China, and his delegation
members.

- Rev. Holger Haldrum, Head of Mission for the Danish Armenian Mission,
on the occasion of a "Memorandum of Understanding" being signed between
the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Danish Armenian Mission.
