Today, the first joint photo exhibition of Armenian and Turkish
photojournalists entitled "Mehrabarev" will be opened at the
Moscow Cinema. This idea that ripened at the Caucasus Media
Institute (CMI is also a supporter of the project) brought together
Armenian photojournalists from "Patkerfoto" agency and 5 Turkish
photojournalists from Turkish "Nar" agency with their photos of Yerevan
and Istanbul. The organizers are sure that the two countries that are
cut off from each other and do not maintain diplomatic relations will
have a chance to meet each other at the exhibition. The exhibition
will be displayed in Yerevan until November 2 and then will move to
Gyumri and Istanbul. Reportedly, a photo album in Armenian, Turkish
and English will be printed at the end.
