RA PROSECUTOR'S GENERAL OFFICE EXAMINES CIRCUMSTANCE OF DEATH OF CHIEF OF INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT OF RA STATE TAX SERVICE

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, NOYAN TAPAN. The RA Prosecutor's General Office
starts examination on the explosion of the office car of Shahen
Hovasapian, the Chief of the Investigation Department of the RA State
Tax Service attached to Government, and on the latter's death. As
Noyan Tapan was informed by the Public Relations and Information
Department of the RA Police, The RA Police Central Department got at
9:35, September 6 an alarm on the explosion in the Bayron street in
Yerevan. The operative group left for the accident place found out
that the explosion took place in the "GAZ 31" car with the "005LL03"
registration number, in the consequence of what Shahen Hovasapian,
the Chief of the Investigation Department of the RA State Tax Service
attached to Government, died. The car driver got bodily injuries. To
recap, according to non-official data, the explosive placed in the
car was the reason of the explosion.
Sh.Hovasapian's son was also in the car, but he got no bodily injuries.
