SEVERAL APPEALS AND DOCUMENTS WERE PASSED AT INTERNATIONAL FORUM DEDICATED TO NATIONAL MOVEMENT IN SOUTH AZERBAIJAN

On September 12, several appeals and documents were adopted at the
Baku International Forum dedicated to the national movement in South
Azerbaijan. In the second part of the Forum, reports were delivered
by the representatives of public organizations, heads of political
parties, as well as exchange of view was held on the national movement
in south Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The participants of the Forum was red the congratulation letter of the
leader of National Renascence Movement of South Azerbaijan Mahmudali
Chohragani and the chairman of the Congress of World Azerbaijanis
Javad Derehti. Giving speeches at the Forum, the deputy of Azerbaijani
Parliament Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front
Party (Classics) Mirmahmud Miralioglu, representatives from South
Azerbaijan and others spoke about the importance of developing the
national movement. On behalf of the International Forum, an appeal was
passed regarding Nagorno-Karabakh problem and ignoring of the relevant
resolutions of UNO. The document reflects the facts of occupation
of Azerbaijani lands by Armenians. "We announce that no concessions
that may bring harms to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of
Azerbaijan may not be taken into consideration in the regulation of
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," stated in the document.
In addition, two appeals were passed to the world Azerbaijanis
and Iranian officials of Turkish origin. The officials were asked
to require the government to ensure the rights and freedoms of
Azerbaijanis living in Iran.
The appeal to the world Azerbaijanis contains challenge to mobilize
all their efforts to support the processes in South Azerbaijan. It
was recommended to carry out works for concentrating forces for
national ideas.
During the first part of the Forum, several speeches were made, a film
was demonstrated about South Azerbaijan, and reports were delivered
about the pressure of the activists of the national movement in Iran.
