IRANIAN BUSINESSMEN LOOK FOR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN KARABAKH

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS: A delegation of 35 Iranian
businessmen, mostly from the neighboring province of Atrpatakan,
was lately in Nagorno Karabakh to look for cooperation possibilities.
The Iranian delegation's visit was organized by the Karabakh
territorial management ministry, Karabakh Development Agency and the
Union of Iranian Merchants and Industrialists in Armenia.
The Iranians and local businessmen met during a conference attended
by Karabakh Prime Minister Anushavan Danielian, who spoke extensively
about doing business in Karabakh. An agreement was reached to organize
an exhibition of Iranian goods in Karabakh.
Danielian pledged the government's support to any initiative of
Iranian businessmen aimed to start a business in NKR.
The Iranians also visited a range of local enterprises, several
historical sites, including the town of Shushi and laid flowers to
the monument symbolizing the eternal existence of Karabakh.
