YEAR OF ARMENIA IN FRANCE EVIDENCES HIGH LEVEL OF BILATERAL RELATIONS

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The Year of Armenia in France officially commences
on September 21 and finishes July 14, Armenian Ambassador to France
Edvard Nalbandyan stated at a news conference in Yerevan. In his
words, it is symbolic that events start on the Independence Day of
Armenia and finish on the Republic Day of France. "The events will
open with a concert of Charles Aznavour in Yerevan with participation
of Presidents of both countries Kocharian and Chirac. The closing
will be in Paris in September 2007.
The Ambassador underscored that events of this type evidence the
high level of relations between the two countries. Edvard Nalbandyan
also told about a number of events to be held in Paris, specifically
those marking the 15th anniversary of Armenia's independence in Paris
are to start on October 10. "A governmental delegation of Armenia,
led by PM A. Margaryan, will take part in a conference, which will
discus matters of decentralization of economic cooperation.
Representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry will meet
in November, while Armenia will take part in the World Agricultural
Exhibition in Paris," Nalbandyan said.
