ARMENIAN BOXING NATIONAL TEAM LEAVES FOR ATHENS TO HOLD A TEACHING AND TRAINING GATHERING

YEREVAN, APRIL 1, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian boxing national team left
for the capital city of Greece on March 31. It will hold a teaching
and training gathering with the local sportsmen until April 6. Then
the Armenian delegates will take part in the last International Rating
Tournament to start in Athens. Derenik Gizhlarian (51 kg, Etchmiadzin),
Artur Hambartsumian (54 kg, Yerevan), Azat Hovhannisian (57 kg,
Masis), Samvel Matevosian (69 kg, Vanadzor), and Tsolak Ananikian
(91 kg, Yerevan) will perform to achieve a permit of participation
in Beijing 2008.
