The Parliament of Israel and Knesset committee made an announcement
that the question of Armenian Genocide will be discussed by the foreign
affairs and security committee. The information is provided by the
ARF Jerusalem "Hay Dat" committee. The decision was made on 1 April,
but the discussion will be held in May.

Note that before it was expected the question will be discussed by
    the educational committee.

The proposal of transmitting the discussion to the foreign affairs
and security committee was made by Azeri deputy Josef Shagal who
had a dispute with Israel-Armenia parliamentary relationship group
    chairman Zev Elkini.

After the session Shagal gave a press conference and announced that
he doubted about the question of Armenian Genocide as the Armenians
were defeated not because they were Armenians but because they were
together with Russian Empire against Turkey. He said that he was sure
that the committee will refuse the recognition of the article.

Note that on 26 March the parliament of Israel Knesset made an
announcement of considering the question of Armenian Genocide while
a year ago it refused it.
