PARADE IN LIBERTY SQUARE TO BE HELD ON DAY OF NEW PRESIDENT'S INAUGURATION IN ARMENIA

ArmInfo. A parade in Liberty Square will be held on the day of new
president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan's inauguration.
Press Secretary of Armenian Defense Minister Colonel Seyran
Shakhsouvaryan told ArmInfo it will not be a military parade. 'It
will be just an element of the inauguration ceremony. A not large
parade will be held wherein by one platoon of all the types of the
country's troops will be presented. No equipment, especially aircrafts,
will be involved', he said.
The inauguration is scheduled for April 9 at the extraordinary sitting
of the Armenian Parliament that will be held at the State Academic
Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiarov. After swearing in,
Serzh Sargsyan as President and Supreme Army Commander will welcome
the army representatives.
The parade will follow the presidential speech.
