INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION GROWS BY 3% IN ARMENIA IN JANUARY-FEBRUARY 2008 ON SAME MONTHS OF 2007

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, NOYAN TAPAN. Industrial production of 108 bln 29.7
mln drams (about 351 mln USD) in current prices was made in Armenia
in January-February 2008. Production of 105 bln 502.7 mln drams was
sold, including sales of 8 bln 967.1 mln drams in CIS countries and
sales of 21 bln 649.8 mln drams in other countries.
According to the RA National Statistical Service, the industrial
production index made 103% as compared with January-February
2007, while the same index without production and distribution of
electricity, gas and water made 99%.
