"BEELINE" BRAND COMES TO SUBSTITUTE "ARMENTEL"

Russian "VimpelCom" Company announced today the launch of its "Beeline"
trademark in Armenia, which came to substitute the "ArmenTel" brand.
Executive Vice-President of "VimpelCom" on business development in
CIS states Dmitri Pleskonos stated during a meeting with journalists
in Yerevan, Armenia is the 7th country, where "Beeline" brand is
functioning. According to him, the arrival of the given brand to
Armenia will considerably consolidate the international positions of
"VimpelCom" Company.
"Moreover, this is a most important step on the way of formation of
a leading company in the sphere of provision of telecommunication
services at international level. And the fact that the company
functions in all the markets under the same brand is a comprehensible
and logical policy for all the customers of Beeline," Dmitri Pleskonos
stated.
