ARMENIA'S NEW PRESIDENT CALLS RELATIONS WITH IRAN 'VALUABLE'

Armenia's new President Serzh Sarkisyan said Wednesday relations with
Iran are 'very valuable and fundamental' for Yerevan.
In a meeting with Iran's Energy Minister Parviz Fattah, President
Sarkisyan emphasized 'Iran's constructive role' in the region.
Iranian minister was in Yerevan to attend Armenia's new president's
inauguration ceremony.
Fattah conveyed Iran's congratulations to Armenia's president and
called for the strengthening of mutual relations and the continuation
of cooperation.
He also extended an invitation to President Sarkisyan on behalf of
President Ahmadinejad which was accepted with pleasure.
Iranian minister of energy and the accompanying delegation left
Yerevan for Tehran after attending the inauguration ceremony which
was held on Wednesday.
