PARLIAMENT SPEAKER DISCUSSES RELATIONS WITH KAZAKH DEPUTY SENATE CHAIRMAN

YEREVAN, APRIL 10, ARMENPRESS: Parliament chairman Tigran Torosian
received today deputy chairman of Kazakhstan's Senate, Mukhambet
Kopeev, who has arrived here to attend Serzh Sarkisian's inauguration
ceremony.
Torosian was quoted by parliament press office as saying that the
visit is a good occasion for both sides to take stock of bilateral
relationships. He said inter-parliamentary contacts between Armenia
and Kazakhstan are 'passive.' Mukhambet Kopeev was quoted as saying
that creation of a four-party coalition in Armenia will help the
government to move forward.
The press service said the two men spoke also about a set of other
issues, including Kazakhstan's upcoming chairmanship of the OSCE.
