SEYRAN OHANIAN APPOINTED MINISTER OF DEFENCE, EDWARD NALBANDIAN - FOREIGN MINISTER

YEREVAN, APRIL 14, NOYAN TAPAN. Pursuant to Aricle 55 Point 4 of
the RA Constitution, the Armenian president Serge Sargsian signed
decrees on appointing Seyran Ohanian the minister of defence of the
RA, Edward Nalbandian - the foreign minister of the RA.
Pursuant to Article 55 point 12 of the RA Constitution and based on
the RA Constitution's Article 52 part 1 point 1 on military service,
the Armenian president signed a decree on relieving Colonel General
Seyran Ohanian of his post as first deputy minister - head of the
General Staff of the RA Armed Forces based on the report of S. Ohanian.
By another decree of S. Sargsian, Edward Nalbandian was relieved of
his duties as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to France,
pluralistically - to the Vatican, Israel, and Andorra.
