"We will settle the problem sooner or later and official Yerevan
understands well that they will have to take a constructive position
for the successful resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict whether
they want it or no".
The due announcement was made by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar
Mamedyarov on Tuesday.
He said the sooner Armenia takes a constructive position during the
talks, the better will it be for the region and for Armenia.
Mamedyarov noted that the conflict should be settled in the framework
of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and position of official
Baku on the issue remains changeless.
"Therefore our initiative on promotion and adoption of the resolution
"On situation in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan" by the United
Nations fully reflects Azerbaijan's position", the Minister announced.
"Baku's position was largely supported at the NATO Bucharest summit",
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister said.
