conference on the principles of solution to the conflicts in GUAM
countries.
GUAM members should intensify such initiatives, because European
community can familiarize with the unresolved problems via such
conferences", Peter Schieder, Honorary President of Parliamentary
Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) said in Baku, APA reports.
He stressed that the resolution adopted in the UN General Assembly
was very important document for Azerbaijan.
"The resolution adopted in the UN showed the opinions of the world
community on Nagorno Karabakh conflict", he said.
Mr. Schieder stated that PACE initiated on the solution to the Nagorno
Karabakh conflict.
"Leo Platvoet, PACE rapporteur made a report on missing people in
the South Caucasus and submitted it to PACE. The report reflects
several recommendations", he said. PACE Honorary President voiced
his attitude to the activity of OSCE MG and noted that all members
of MG should be involved in the settlement of the conflict.
