Twenty criminal cases against people suspected of taking part in mass
unrest in Yerevan on March 1 have been passed to courts, the Armenian
Prosecutor General's Office said on Tuesday.

Seventy-eight people suspected of taking part in mass unrest remain
in custody, and 16 others were obliged not to leave the city. Three
    more suspects have been arrested.

The Prosecutor General's Office is investigating a criminal case
on the organization of mass unrest with the aim of seizing power in
Yerevan on March 1-2. The case is being investigated by the Special
    Investigative Service.

Ten people were killed and more than 180 injured on March 1-2 in
clashes between police and demonstrators supporting presidential
candidate Levon Ter-Petrosian, who refused to agree to the official
outcomes of the February 19, 2008 presidential elections.
