Today Karen Demirchian would have become 76. We lost him 9 years ago
but all his relatives and friends still visit Komitas Pantheon where
he is buried.
People called him "Karen the Constructor" since Armenia was a most
prosperous and advanced country under his rule.
During those 14 years in power Demirchian acquired a great fame and
fine reputation. He was able to revive hope in people towards progress
and improvement. Alas criminals took away his life and ruined all
hope in people.
"He was a unique husband, an exceptional father and a brilliant
leader. Those who have not known him can't assess his real values. He
should not be judged by appearance only", says Rima Demirchian,
Karen Demirchian's widow.
