ARMENIAN PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN OFFERS A NEW JOB TO PREFECT OF DAVIDASHEN COMMUNITY OF YEREVAN

ArmInfo. In a conversation with ArmInfo correspondent, Prefect of
Davidashen community of Yerevan Sourik Ghoukasyan said that Armenian
President Serzh Sargsyan offered him a new job.
He said that he will not advance his nominee at the forthcoming
election for prefect of Davidashen community on May 18. "I support the
nominee of the deputy prefect, Artur Gevorgyan", Ghoukasyan said. He
expressed his willingness to accept any job as he is a member of the
Council of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and should acknowledge
the party's decisions. Ghoukasyan pointed out that he is not going
to stop the contacts with the residents of Davidashen after leaving
his post. He added that the state budget 2008 allocated a total of
278 mln AMD to Davidashen community.
He also stressed that if Artur Gevorgyan is elected prefect, he will
be a good leader of the community.
