DR. ZAVEN YEGAVIAN OF THE CALOUSTE GULBENKIAN FOUNDATION
VISITS HIS HOLINESS
The Director of the Department of Armenian Affairs of the Lisbon-based
Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Dr. Zaven Yegavian arrived in Antelias on
April 17 following an invitation from His Holiness Aram I.
Dr. Yegavian will stay in the Catholicosate of Cilicia as a guest for a
period of one week and will hold meetings with the Armenian Pontiff on
further deepening the cooperation between the Catholicosate of Cilicia and
the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
Dr. Yegavian will attend the ordination and consecration of Bishops in
Antelias on April 20. He will also hold meetings with leading members of the
Lebanese-Armenian community's educational circles.
