ARMENIA CONSUL GENERAL IN LOS ANGELES MEETS WITH CITY COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

YEREVAN, APRIL 21, ARMENPRESS: Armenian foreign ministry said Armenian
consul general in Los Angeles, Armen Liloyan, met on April 15 with
Eric Garsetti, chairman of Los Angeles City Council.
The ministry told Armenpress that during the meeting Liloyan spoke
about post-election developments in Armenia and the current situation,
and informed also about the plans of new president and new government
to continue social and economic reforms.
The ministry said the two men spoke also about cooperation prospects
between Yerevan and Los Angeles which are sister cities and exchanged
opinions on organization of Armenia Week in Los Angeles and other
joint cultural programs.
Garsetti expressed willingness to help the consulate carry out cultural
and economic projects.
They also stated their readiness to continue cooperation between the
consulate and the City Council.
