PETER SCHIEDER: "ARMENIA HAS TO RESPECT THE SOVEREIGNTY AND TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF AZERBAIJAN AND TO WITHDRAW ITS TROOPS"

Baku. Tamara Grigoryeva-APA. "Kosovo should not be seen as a precedence
case at all and especially not for Nagorno-Karabakh," Peter Schieder,
honorary president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of
Europe told APA.
He said that the situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan had to be
solved according to international law. "Armenia has to respect the
sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and to withdraw
its troops and abstain of any interference", he said.
Peter Schieder said both countries had to follow the principles and
standards of the UN, OSCE and the Council of Europe.
