Ministry and Russia's Uranium Holding ARMZ (Atomredmetzoloto) have
signed a contract today on the creation of a Russian-Armenian joint
venture for geological survey and the production of uranium and
other mineral resources in Armenia, the parties said in a joint
statement. The enterprise is to be set up on a parity basis and
registered within the next three months. According to the Armenian
government's decree of April 4, 2008, the joint venture will be
licensed for conducting geological surveys in Armenia after the
registration.
