THOUSANDS OF ARMENIANS COMMEMORATE 1915 MASS KILLINGS.

According to France 24 thousands of Armenians gathered in the capital
Yerevan to mark the 93rd anniversary of the 1915 massacre. The killing
occurred under the Ottoman Empire. Armenia considers it as a genocide a
label that Turkey has refused to use over the years. Several hundreds
of thousands of people died in a civil war between 1915 and 1917
when the Russian backed Christian Armenians rose against the Ottoman
