CSTO MEMBER STATES COMMITTED TO HELP A PARTNER SUBJECTED TO AGGRESSION

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The regulations of the Collective Security Treaty
Organization read that the CSTO member states are committed to lend a
hand to their partner subjected to aggression, CSTO Assistant Secretary
General told a news conference in Yerevan.
Valery Semerikov reminded that in October 2007, the CSTO heads of
state signed a protocol on military and technical mutual assistance.
"If necessary, we will act accordingly," he said.
The CSTO brings together Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan,
Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Uzbekistan, which quitted GUAM two years
ago, filed in application for joining the CSTO again.
