ARMENIAN FM RECEIVES CONGRATULATIONS

YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan
continues receiving congratulatory messages from different countries.
The Press and Information Department, RA Foreign Office, reports that
Minister Nalbandyan received a congratulatory message from Secretary
General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe
(OSCE) Mark Brishambo. In his message Mr. Brishambo pointed out
Nalbandyan's contribution to Armenian-French relations since 1999, when
he started representing Armenia in France. The OSCE Secretary General
expressed hope for further development of the Armenia-OSCE relations.
In his message, NATO Secretary General Jaap Hoop Skheffer pointed out
that Armenia is one of NATO's important partners. The NATO Secretary
General stated that political dialogue over various aspects of the
Individual Partnership Program has recently been intensified. He
expressed hope that Armenia and NATO will consolidate the joint
progress and cooperation.
Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CE) Terry Davis wished
Minister Nalbandyan success, pointing out that the CE will continue
its assistance to demographic reforms in Armenia. He expressed hope
for a meeting with the RA Foreign Minister in Strasbourg.
Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa wished Minister Edward
Nalbandyan success and expressed the confidence that Minister
Nalbandyan will contribute to the consolidation of bilateral
cooperation.
In his message, Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdul Geita wished Minister
Nalbandyan good health and successful activities. He also wished
progress and prosperity to the Armenian people.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ogryzko expressed the confidence
that the appointment of Edward Nalbandyan as RA Foreign Minister will
give a new impetus to bilateral cooperation.
