FILMS OF TWO ARMENIAN PRODUCERS TO TAKE PART IN FESTIVAL DE CANNES

CANNES, APRIL 29, ARMENIANS TODAY - NOYAN TAPAN. Atom Egoyan's new
film, Adoration, was named one of the 19 finalists that will be
in competition next month for the prestigious Palme d'Or Award at
the 61st annual Festival de Cannes. The film's inclusion in Official
Selection marks the sixth time that a feature film from the director's
work has made the cut. As media report, the GATA documentary film of
Armenian producer Diana Mkrtchian living in Russia will also be in
competition for the festival.
