NORWEGIAN FOREIGN MINISTER: "AZERBAIJAN'S ROLE IN EU ENERGY SECURITY INCREASES"

Baku. Tamara Grigorieva-APA. On Tuesday, Norwegian Foreign Minister
Jonas Gahr Store delivered a lecture on Azerbaijan-Norway relations
at Azerbaijan University of Languages, APA reports.
Jonas Gahr Store underlined the importance of the development
of bilateral relations and said Diplomatic Academies of the two
countries were cooperating. He said Azerbaijan and Norway were
cooperating in the oil and gas fields. "Azerbaijan's role in the
EU energy security increases". Speaking about the Nagorno Karabakh
problem, the Minister said it was a big tragedy that refugees and
displaced persons couldn't return home. "We believe that refugees
and displaced persons will return home. This problem should find its
solution soon. The Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be resolved within
the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan". Jonas Gahr Store said he
believed presidential elections in Azerbaijan this year would meet
the international standards.
