After twenty years' interval, "The Virtuosos of Moscow" (conductor:
V. Spivakov) yesterday gave a concert in the Gyumri State Drama
Theatre Named after V. Atchemyan.
The concert which lasted around two hours was dedicated to the
memory of the victims of the 1988 earthquake. "We, 'The Virtuosos
of Moscow', always remember those days. I will not say what we have
done because that won't be right; however, the fact that you remember
us and appreciate our deeds is shown by the warm attitude of your
fellow-townsmen living in different parts of the world," A. Spivakov
said to the spectators of Gyumri.
