MOSCOW, December 8. /ARKA/. At a briefing held jointly with his Russian
counterpart Vladimir Putin RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan offered
condolences on the death of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy
II on behalf of the Armenian president, Government and people.

"I would like to offer condolences on the death of Patriarch Alexy II.

This is grief not only for Russians, but also for Armenians. We

    said.

According to him, Alexy II's patriarchate was marked by the formation
of very warm relations with the Armenian Apostolic Church.

"I am sure that the whole Armenian people shares the Russian people's
