VIOLATION OF KARABAKH TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY CONFLICTS WITH INTERNATIONAL LAW AND HISTORIC JUSTICE

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Azerbaijani propaganda myth posing Armenia and
Nagorno Karabakh as winners and Azerbaijan as a victim must be
debunked, said an advisor to the NKR Foreign Minister.

"Actually, Azerbaijan had annexed historical Armenian lands, namely
Nakhijevan, Northern Nagorno Karabakh and a part of the Nagorno
Karabakh republic while Turkey had seized Western Armenia and a
part of Eastern Armenia (Kars province). The Armenian Genocide
in the Ottoman Empire in 1915-1923 and in Azerbaijan and Nagorno
Karabakh in 1988-1994 remained unpunished. Under the circumstances,
when 9/10 of the territory of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh are under
Azeri and Turkish control, calls for other territorial concessions
are absolutely illegal and preposterous," Ruben Zargaryan wrote in
"Karabakh Reconquista" peace of opinion obtained by PanARMENIAN.Net.

"Allowance of Azerbaijan's territorial claims to historical
Armenian lands will crown the Turkish-Azeri aggression and
genocide in 1928-20 and ethnic cleansing against the Armenian
population in 1988-92. Violation of Nagorno Karabakh's territorial
integrity conflicts with the international law and historical
justice. Surrender of any territory will damage efficiency of the NKR
defense army. Azerbaijan should be forced to an agreement on non-use
of force, which would also include international guarantees. No one
should forget that NKR and Armenia are dealing with an aggressor state,
which continues the armament drive and threatens to frustrate peaceful
talks. As a matter of fact, the Azeri authorities used Georgia and
South Ossetia as a testing area for further development of blitzkrieg
    plans," he said.
