ARMENIA IN AN ADVANTAGEOUS CONDITION

"We need to solve the questions connected with democracy and human
rights for ourselves, not for Europe," political scientists Levon
Shirinyan and Alexander Manasyan told a press conference today. They
expressed views on the changes in the world and the issues we are
concerned with, including their possible impact on the Karabakh issue.
The political scientists agreed that Armenia can come out winner of
a number of uncertain geopolitical changes, for which it is first
of all necessary to solve the issue of conformity inside the country
irrespective of Europe's requirements.
