BRITISH SCIENTIST TO JOIN ARMENIAN RESEARCH CENTER

"Armenian Mirrot Spectator" newspaper informs that Dr. Joan Leycock,
Manchester University, UK, has been invited to the Arbor University of
Michigan in order to take the place of the head of the post-doctorate
researchers' department, sponsored by the Manoogian-Simon Foundation.
Dr. Leycock has been recently engaged with Armenian issues, especially
the Armenia-Diaspora relationships and repatriation in the Post-Soviet
period. Her doctorate thesis was dedicated to the English and French
researches on Armenian culture and history and the attitude of the
French and English scientists to the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
Dr. Leycock's activities at the Armenian Research Center of Arbor
University shall involve studies of the Armenian history in the
1978-1915 period.
