AMBASSADOR OF IRAN PRESENTS HIS CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT KOCHARYAN

The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Al Sheikh Abdullah Ben Zahir
Ben Sahiv Al Housni (seat in Moscow) presented his credentials to
President Robert Kocharyan.
Emphasizing the importance of expanding the relations with the Arab
world, the President said the cooperation with countries of the Gulf
has considerably increased over the past years.
The parties expressed willingness to undertake concrete steps
in the direction of development of collaboration between Armenia
and Oman. In this regard the parties stressed the importance of
organizing reciprocal visits, intensification of business contacts,
exchange of information, which will help to clarify the possible
spheres of cooperation.
