"I drive to Hadrut via Karmir Shuka. The road was repaired till
Drakhtik but in winter it is dangerous. And this winter there was
a lot of snow. The car skids at some turnings. I ride once a week,
whereas the buses go every day," said the driver Armen in an interview
with Karabakh-Open.com.
Armen, driver for many years, thinks the road
Stepanakert-Aghdam-Martuni should be repaired. "I would gladly drive
to Martuni via Aghdam.
Firstly, this road never freezes, secondly there are no turnings, and
thirdly, visibility is good. I cannot understand why they do not want
to repair it. It would take 40 minutes to drive to Martuni. Now even if
they finish repair of the road Karmir Shuka-Sos-Chartar-Gishi-Martuni,
it will take at least an hour and a half to drive there," Armen says.
