OSCE CHAIRMAN: I HOPE THAT NAGORNO KARABAKH, TRANSDNIESTR AND SOUTH OSSETIA CONFLICTS WILL BE SOLVED PEACEFULLY

Washington-APA" Prevention, solution of conflicts and elimination of
the results are priorities of OSCE during Finland's chairmanship,"
Ilkka Kanerva, Finnish Foreign Minister, OSCE chairman said while
delivering speech in Woodrow Wilson International Center .
He stated that several conflicts, such as Nagorno Karabakh,
Transdniestr and South Ossetia conflicts have not yet solve. He hoped
that these conflicts will be solved peacefully. He noted that he paid
a working visit to Baku 20 years ago.
"Then it was impossible without an interpreter. It is difficult to
deliver long speech, especially if your speech is translated. This
was very troublesome for audience, not only for me, but all these
happened 20 years ago," he said. Minister for Foreign Trade and
Development Paavo Vayrynen delivered speech and stated that solution
of conflicts in CIS region positively influences to the economical
development of region.
