NAGORNO-KARABAKH GOVERNMENT TO PAY MONETARY COMPENSATIONS TO FARMERS
YEREVAN, 15.02.08. DE FACTO. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic government
has made a decision concerning monetary compensation of loss to
farmers, who had sustained losses in connection with epidemic of
African swine fever.
According to the information DE FACTO received at the NKR government
Press Office today, for a kilogram of meat of animals, which had been
forcedly killed, the government would pay 400 drams. As a whole on
the grounds of calculation of losses the government will allocate the
sum in the amount of over 44 million drams.
According to the Press Office, after the cessation of fever one more
analogous program will be realized. The first cases of emergence of
African fever in the Nagorno-Karabakh were registered at the
beginning of last September.
